So I'm going to this concert tonight, and thought I would share the love. Let me preface this by saying, this is chick rock. But really good chick rock. Not so much mournful and soulful, but with an electro-indie edge. More Peaches than Ani. It has some nice, synth, drum machine minimalist production and the lead singer's voice is pretty accessible. Anyway...I like it. You might too.

definitely chick rock...I mean the concert is pretty much girls thinking, "OMG! I can totally relate to what this girl saying! That's exactly what I felt when I broke up with my boyfriend!!!"
That being said the concert was pretty interesting. She's not really singing, but more telling a story much like a narrator. By the end of the night she definitely had changed my opinion of her and had all the hipster dudes in the audience pining after her. All in all a very enjoyable night.
